We had originally been on the fence about contacting a coordinator but wow we are SO glad we did! Just a complete gem of a human and from the first consultation call right through until she sent us off at the end of the night she worked complete magic to make our day the absolute best one of our lives! During the prep stages, every time we got an email from a vendor with a problem, before we would even have time to get stressed about it we’d get a follow up email from Nicole with a solution. On the wedding day, having Nicole at the helm made for the most stress free day I’ve ever experienced! I’m quite a list/schedule oriented person (to give you an idea, I had an hour by hour week-of run sheet to track all our dinners and appointments etc) and on our wedding at no point in the day did I know or care what time it was because I was so confident that Nicole had it all covered. She made everything so seamless and somehow anticipated every little thing. We couldn’t find someone? Nicole had tracked them down and they were on their way to me. Felt an energy crash coming? Nicole was suddenly there with a cup of coffee before I’d even said anything. She even somehow knew when we accidentally locked ourselves on the roof and came to save us less than two minutes after we realized we were stuck. In fact there are some logistics of our wedding day that we still don’t actually know how they happened because it was just so perfect! We could go on for pages, but all this to say that Nicole is absolutely wonderful and we owe so much of how perfect and beautiful our wedding day was to her!
Ps. Also huge shout out to Celine for hanging out with my toddler nephew during the ceremony and keeping him happy and entertained - even though he was going through his clingy phase - so that my sister (and MOH) could make it down the aisle! Just another seemingly small piece that made our day so stress-free!

I had the pleasure of working with Celine from Above and Beyond Event Planning as my wedding planner, and I can't express how absolutely amazing she was. Celine went above and beyond in every aspect to make our special day unforgettable. Leading up to the wedding she always responded promptly and made us feel heard. She handled everything with grace and professionalism, taking a tremendous amount of pressure off our shoulders. The wedding day flowed seamlessly thanks to her meticulous planning and attention to detail.
One thing that truly stood out was Celine's flexibility. She adapted to any unexpected changes and made them look like part of the original plan. Her calm demeanor was a source of comfort throughout the day. Even when our florist made an error with my bouquet, Celine and her assistant came to the rescue. They not only fixed the issue but transformed the bouquets into something more beautiful than we could have imagined. Crisis averted, thanks to Celine's expertise and quick thinking.

Nicole, Celine, and their whole team truly went above and beyond for us! They were there every step of the way through our initial planning and re-planning process and never missed a beat! They were there for late night calls and my sometimes very early morning texts, and recommended so many of our other amazing vendors! Nicole and Celine were my sanity when we had to postpone five days our from our original date, and swiftly picked up the pieces to help us re-plan our new dream day - Nicole from her hotel room in Amsterdam! On the day, Celine and Negin flawlessly executed my vision and put together a day beyond our wildest dreams! To say they went above and beyond for us is a true understatement and we are so grateful to have them in our lives. The best decision we made in our wedding planning process was hiring them! I could not recommend them more!

I will start by saying above and beyond was the 4th wedding planning company I spoke with - but Celine from above and beyond was the first person who I felt like was truly listening to my vision.
Fast forward 6 months and Celine brought this vision to life (even better than I could have imagined)!
We hired above and beyond for their full planning services and this was the best decision, honestly worth every penny.
I actually enjoyed planning parts of my wedding knowing that whenever it got stressful Celine would fully step in. She generated so many good ideas, communicated completely with all vendors, and helped the whole evening run so smoothly.
Planning a wedding during a pandemic should have been stressful but it wasn’t. Above and beyond was able to flip our small family only ceremony, revamp the decor, and turn it into a small covid friendly ceremony to celebrate with our closest friends. Not only did she think of everything, but she and her team were there so early setting everything up, and they did not stop all evening.

But even before we had fully made a decision, Nicole was more than willing to answer questions, ease some of the wedding planning stresses & anxieties with care and ease. Chatting with her for the first time was like talking to someone we already knew and unlike other wedding planners we spoke with she seemed truly interested and invested with us and the wedding; not with getting a contract signed and money in her pocket.
