Above and Beyond Event Planning is a company that specializes in high-quality wedding and event planning services for couples looking for original and creative designs for their big day. Our team offers a hands-on approach to creating a wedding celebration that represents your vision and stays within your budget. We strongly believe in open communication, fun and outside the box thinking!

We ensure each event is unique and specifically curated for each couple. We know how overwhelming event planning can be, we strive to take all that stress away! Forget about spending hours on google researching your favourite vendor, (unless you love that), we are there with you! We do all the “heavy lifting” so you can enjoy this process and have the most memorable day!

We are based in Vancouver, B.C but we host events worldwide! Whether you’re having a local wedding or a wedding across the ocean, we got your back! We can’t wait to start this memorable journey with you!

Meet the team

I have been planning, organizing and executing events such as weddings and other social events since 2012. I started my journey planning events for family and friends because I have such a passion for it! I love being creative and meeting new people. After curating quite a few successful events the time felt right to finally make event planning and design my career!

My transition to event planning and design was a huge risk as I left a full time job that offered me a regular pay cheque, benefits and a pension! But I wasn’t happy. I knew in my soul I had to make a change and do something I was not only passionate about but was talented at. To ensure I am providing my clients the best quality possible I enrolled in Event Planning and Design School. I completed my certification and I am happy to say I’m an official International Wedding and Event Professional (IWEP).

I love my team and am so proud of each and every one of them. No matter who you work with at Above and Beyond, you can rest assured that our team has your back, from Engagement to the Main Event.

Celine graduated with an Arts and Cultural Management Diploma and Cosmetology Diploma, she brings her organizational skills, attention to detail and impeccable style to every event. Celine has been involved in the running of many events such as Gallery/theatre Openings, Galas, Countrywide Fundraisers, Ballet Productions but of course her favourite events are WEDDINGS! Weddings are by far the most beautiful and inspiring days, Celine's approach to any event is simple but purposeful, let her make your day intentionally perfect! 
 
Fun Fact: On the weekends you will find Celine baking in her kitchen that she is pretty certain was made for tiny humans. Celine and her 6'4 Partner use the lack of space as a constant couple building exercise.

Annie loves art and design in all forms and has the most experience in event decor. Annie has been planning and designing events since 2010, Annie also comes fully loaded with her event management degree. 

In her spare time Annie loves to paint, go for coffee dates with her friends and search inspiring event design online.

After completing the Event Marketing Management program at BCIT, Negin’s passion for events, people, and planning led her to first serve in the private and non profit sector. After gaining experience planning corporate meetings, large scale sporting events, and cross country promotional tours, Negin went back to what she originally wanted to do: plan weddings. 

Negin’s gifts of organization, attention to detail, creative imagination, concept design and contagious enthusiasm have earned her a reputation for excellence as an event planner. Negin prides herself on executing concepts flawlessly while maintaining a calm and helpful demeanor to ensure an amazing experience for you and your guests!

Stephanie has been fascinated by weddings since she was a little girl (she loves a good party). Her love for weddings solidified when she attended a black tie wedding in New Orleans in 2018, after that Stephanie knew she had to be involved in the event planning industry.

Stephanie has a bubbly personality and you can find her dancing to the music as she cleans up late night decor.
